Dear Sharon: Earlier this week I emailed you about this Friday's Senate hearing, where whistleblowers such as Bunnatine Greenhouse will be testifying about abuses by government contractors in Iraq. I also asked you to attend the hearing and/or to contact C-Span to request that they cover it, so that the entire country can hear about how defense contractors are bilking U.S. taxpayers and retaliating against honest employees. If you have already taken action on this issue, THANK YOU. If not, it's not too late, so click here. Yesterday, we were informed that the hearing, which is scheduled for 10:30AM in the Dirksen Senate Building, room 226, will now have two panels. The first panel will consist of witnesses testifying about the Blackwater security contracts, and our panel, focusing on Iraq Whistleblowers, will be the second. If you plan to attend, and would only like to hear the whistleblower panel, you should show up around 11:00. If you would like a sneak peek at tomorrow's testimony, here you go!
