My name is Hayden Kilkenny and I am the Candidate Forum Coordinator for the League of Women Voters Saint Paul, a nonpartisan organization devoted to encouraging the informed and active participation of citizens in government. I would like to invite you to a candidate forum on October 15 at Villa del Sol Community Room, where you will have a chance to speak about your policy platform and answer questions from constituents. The League of Women Voters has a long history of holding public, nonpartisan forums that give voters a chance to get know candidates. We look forward to your participation!
After the moderator makes introductions, each candidate will have 2 minutes for an opening statement.Time limits will be strictly enforced.Questions will be invited from the constituents and vetted by qualified volunteers. Candidates will have 1 minute to answer questions and, if desired, a 30 second rebuttal.If time permits, candidates will have 2 minutes for a closing statement.
Local media may record the proceedings.
