Sharon,

I read you comments on the Pioneer Press website and would like express my thanks to you for wishing Kris good luck. I don't believe he will have any problem with the homegrown citizenry of Minnesotan's. My family and I lived in the Twin Cities from 10/84 - 10/87 and we found the people of Minnesota to be warm and welcoming. To this day we have close friends from Minnesota.

Kris is a dynamic young leader (from Montana) with a great future and a lot to offer. His attributes must have stood out amongst all the other candidate or he wouldn't be heading your way.

Please take an opportunity to meet and welcome Kris to your community, he will need all the support he can get in his new endeavor.

I know him well, he married my daughter Katie (from Washington).

He is as experienced in his area of expertise and any 19 year old soldier serving in Iraq and they all need our support. Again I know, I served for 20 year with some of the best young men and women I've ever want to know.
